For someone who is on the go quite often and may not always have time to prepare food, a quick smoothie is always a good idea. Especially, following a workout so in these cases I’ll add a little protein powder. If you don’t know by now, I absolutely love kale. I love not only cooking with it but I love adding it to my smoothies. Kale leaves do not have a strong flavor which makes them great for smoothies.
This is one of my favorite go-to smoothies using kale and you can adjust the amount of fruit and/or juice contained in it.
This smoothie is made with:
Orange juice, strawberries, madjool dates, kale, and raw honey. If you need to add some protein powder you definitely can.
